The Missing Pieces

I'm told that comparison is painful and often useless. My own experience confirms that. When I compare myself to the best among us, I find myself lacking.

It's like I am a puzzle with pieces missing. No matter what I can never complete the puzzle, but I continue looking for the pieces. How can I not? It's the ultimate in optimism and obsession.
